A Banner and The Luck of the Irish

Here are two pieces of the name banner for a new baby.  Sometimes as I struggle through a creativity block  frustrated with myself, I line up the elements and wait for great things to happen.  I had committed to the little chipboard onesie but all I could come up with for it was glitter, which is always a good thing, but it really can't stand alone.  So a leaf punch, a couple of flowers, some buttons, bling and a little tulle stared back at me tauntingly.  Then as if the glitter fairy waved her magic wand, everything rose up and danced onto the banner - kind of like the lace and flowers flying onto Cinderella's ball gown when the mice & birds went to work.  ( OK, they didn't rise up like that, maybe more like sugar plu..., oh well never mind).  But just remember....... glitter is always your friend and tulle will never let you down! What do you think??

Since St. Patty's Day is next month, I'm already thinking ahead.  Here is a scrapbook page I loved doing with my CRICUT Expression and  Design Studio.  I used  Plantin SchoolBook and A Child's Year.  I used a circle from George & Basic Shapes (although Plaintain has a circle also) to arrange the shamrocks and Ireland around. I enlarged the hat and moved it to the top.  Then I removed all of the selected cut lines from the shamrocks.  WHEW!!  When I had everything where I wanted it, I deleted the circle & welded it together.  I glittered it with a shade of green any Irishman could love.  I believe if the only thing Design Studio, my Gypsy or  Cricut Craft Room did was weld, it would be worth all the glitter in the world!

Thanks for dropping by, please come again and always Live the Life you Love :-)
